Chiptime Results is looking for a Full-Time Employee to join our team to help with day-to-day tasks and timing races. Start date: February/March

We are also looking for Casual Employees that are looking to supplement their income with the occasional weekend work. Start date: April

Lead Timer Timing Assistant
Responsibilities Include:

·       Learn and understand race databases and scoring software

·       Set-up of computers and timing equipment to specific standards

·       Enter and manage race day registrations and participants changes

·       Perform race day timing functions and provide fast and accurate results

·       Interact with event staff, Chiptime Staff and participants in a professional manner

 

Responsibilities Include:

·       Loading and unloading equipment

·       Set-up of timing equipment to specific standards

·       Monitor the timing equipment for any problems

·       Managing the area in which participants are engaging with our equipment

·       Interact with event staff, Chiptime Staff and participants in a professional manner

 

Qualifications

·       Valid Full G drivers license with a clean driving record

·       Race timing/scoring experience is not a requirement but will help

·       Must have the ability to take initiative, and be able to work well as a team and individually

·       Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

·       Strong customer service skills

·       Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems

·       Proficiency in Excel

·       Ability to travel and work weekends and select holidays (some opportunities for weekday events)

·       Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

 

Qualifications

·       Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people

·       Willing to work outside in all types of weather and be prepared for the elements

·       Willing and able to drive a vehicle with a trailer (Chiptime willing to train)

·       Must be self-motivated, seek out work to do, and able to work under minimal supervision

·       Ability to travel and work weekends
